By coordinating schedules, the organizers hope to ensure that the sport's most prominent three-year-olds compete against each other more consistently. The races will be broadcast nationally, with NBC covering events at Churchill Downs and Fox airing those hosted by NYRA venues.

O'Rourke highlighted the strategic timing of the launch, noting that the series will coincide with the re-opening of Belmont Park following extensive renovations. Despite the collaborative goals, the absence of the Preakness Stakes from the six-race schedule has drawn significant attention. Churchill Downs representatives clarified that the omission is not intended as a slight against the Preakness, suggesting that the series remains open to future expansion and partnerships.
